Wasserturm Montabaur · Guide
Business trip to Montabaur – an apartment instead of a hotel room
Five minutes to the ICE, 30 minutes to Frankfurt Airport, a desk with a monitor, fast Wi-Fi, a wallbox and a VAT invoice. The water tower for business travellers.

Montabaur is a destination for many business travellers: large employers such as 1&1 are based here, and the town lies on the ICE line and the A3 motorway between Cologne and Frankfurt. The water tower is an alternative to a hotel room, with more space, your own kitchen and a place you look forward to coming back to in the evening.
What you need for work
- Desk: a small desk with a monitor, keyboard and mouse. Plug in your laptop and get going.
- Wi-Fi: fast internet on every level of the tower.
- Quiet: the bedroom sits within the thick walls of the tower shaft, with air conditioning in the bedroom and upstairs.
- Invoice: on request you get an invoice showing VAT. Just let us know, ideally when you book.
Quick to reach, quick to leave
- Montabaur ICE station: five minutes on foot.
- Frankfurt Airport: about 30 minutes by direct ICE.
- Cologne Hbf and Frankfurt Hbf: about 40 and 45 minutes by ICE.
- By car: a few minutes to the A3, two private parking spaces in front of the steps and an 11 kW wallbox for your company car.

Arrive on your own schedule
Instead of waiting at a reception desk, you receive a personal access code before you arrive. It lets you in around the clock, even when the last meeting runs late or the train arrives late.
Longer stays
For a project lasting several weeks, the tower is more practical than a hotel: your own kitchen, a washing machine and dryer in the basement, and space on three levels. You can book up to 60 nights online, and the long-stay discount is applied automatically to the price. If you want to stay even longer, write to us.
After work
The old town and its restaurants are fifteen minutes away on foot, supermarkets just a few minutes. For ideas in the area, see Things to do.
